Dear friends,

Recently we want to convert the database from DBF to PostgreSQL, so I 
did a testing , and get a problem that when there are some Chinese words 
in the character data field, It cannot be read correctly, How should 
this be addressed?  anybody can help me?  Thanks~~~

i guess your DBF is OEM or ANSI while PostgreSQL Server is UFT8
configure PostgreSQL Server with Win1252
