HI,
I am beginning to install postgre to migrate Fox Database to Postgre.
Today I just use encode OEM on my aplication.

On installation Alaska recomend to use "UTF-8" on server and on Client
side. Is that the better option ?

I have some doubt about what implications on use UTF-8 on Client Side...

If I use PostGre Alaska Drive it to treat this automatically ?
( convert OEM or ANSI to UTF ?)

  Thanks
