Anyone know what a VXPackage is and how to use it??

There is no mention in the DOCs.

Looks like a way to extend VX functionality. But a simple example would
help.

You are right. With VXPackages VX can do everything.
But this is the part where this release is PRE. It is
simply not finished yet.

But to explain the stuff here some examples:

o A VX package could insert some haeder info each time
a new prg or ch file is created. At this point the
package could shoot in time/date/author information.

o Another one could implement a autosave mechanism, where
all files are saved from time to time when modified.

o Another one could be a CVS integration. It could
check whether a file needs to be checked out from
  repository.

o Another one could start the coffe machine when
The VX is up more then 10 hours

All this can be implemented in a Xbase++ DLL and can
be automatically loaded when VX comes up.

This for sure could be one of the main reasons to use VX
