Blaed Munz | pgde.dll on Wed, 29 Oct 2014 10:16:17 -0500 Since loading the release version (Build 556) I get the specified module could not be found when I do DbeLoad("pddbe"). I notice the pgdbe.dll is not in the xpp folder only in the cxp folder. I tried copying the dll to xpp with the same result. Should there be a pgdbe.dll in the xpp folder? Blaed Munz | |

Andreas Herdt | Re: pgde.dll on Fri, 31 Oct 2014 09:45:12 +0100 Hello Mr Munz, The PostgreSQL Database Engine will be installed to xpp\lib by the Xbase++ installer. If that library is missing please deinstall Xbase++ and try installation again. To be sure: The Database Server stuff is part of the Professional Edition only. Blaed Munz | Re: pgde.dll on Fri, 31 Oct 2014 10:37:56 -0500 I uninstalled and reinstalled again with the same result. I went back and installed the last ctp release and it worked fine. It is more than those files that are missing there are 98 files in the \lib of the CTP and only 57 files in the 2.0 Foundation. I also upgraded it to build 556 with the upgrade manager and got the same result. Andreas Herdt | Re: pgde.dll on Fri, 31 Oct 2014 19:29:51 +0100 Hi Blaed, The server technologies - where the PGDBE belongs to - are not part of the Foundation Edition. However, they have been part of the CTP installation packages. If you licensed of a Foundation Edition then get in contact with sales@alaska-software.com and ask for options to an upgrade.
