We decided not to stop the release because of this. The Installation package for PostgreSql server 9.x is our priority number one topic we need to take care for inbetween or after the conferences that takes place this month and november. The reason for this is because version 8.x and 9.x are not binary compatible to each other. Upgrading the server will require the migration of the PostgreSql databases if Xbase++ solutions are in production already. Allthough possible, it is an additional step that needs to be done on your side.
