The question really should be "is 1.82 Win7 compatible?" as there is no
"installation" of any kind required. I think the last time I actually used
the installer was version 1.3...
Maybe the installer does work, but AFAIK 1.82 has not been officially
tested to be Win 7 compatible.

install zip, how would i process xppdata.1, .2 .. etc.?

Hello,
should work, but be aware to install it on drive C, all mapped drives
don't work when linking. Installation also works when you copy a
installation from one computer to another, you only have to change the
params for path, lib, etc.
