Hi guys..

Did anyone ever get this message?

---------------------------
MyApp.exe - Entry Point Not Found
---------------------------
The procedure entry point __This_DLL_needs_version_1_70_0 could not be
located in the dynamic link library XPPRT1.dll.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

The debugger says "mismatched dlls" but which ones..?

I just upgraded xbase to 1.82 (from 1.80), I uninstall xbase and all the
add-ons, deleted the folders and reinstall everything.
    The XPPRT1.DLL is version 1.82

Thanks a lot!
Marcelo

Make sure all your 3P libs are up to date and compiled for Xase++ 1.82.
If you use SQLExpress or Xb2.NET, then you can download the appropriate
versions from here: http://www.SQLExpress.net/download.htm

Hey Boris,

I do have your SQLExpress, but I'm not using it on this application
in specific ( YET.. =o) ) .. Would that still generate a problem?
What I DO use tho is the eXpress++ from Mr. Donnay, but it should
support 1.80 / 1.82 (at least
thats what it says on the website..)

Thanks in advance!

Marcelo,
when changing to another Xbase++-version you have to rebuild all your libs
and dlls from 3pp!
So just rebuild your Express++ dll's and lib's and use these with your
program.

HTH,
Martin

Marcelo, a question like that would be better asked on Rogers webboard.

And while you're at it you can then ask if anyone else knows the reason for
your original runtime error....

Just as an extra thought...your paths are set to include the BIN182 folder for
Express++ aren't they? Only if you don't have that in the path, it might very
well give you the above message...

Hi Regan,

Just to keep you guys posted on this one, it seems thats a mismatch w/
the ADSDBE and XB dlls.. I'm trying to get the version 1.82 of adsdbe.dll
and adsutil.dll to try it out and confirm our theory..
I'll post here the result of this issue as soon we have a concrete
answer..

Thank you all for the great help and tips!!
Take care,
Marcelo
