RCB | Printing Clipper to USB on Thu, 30 Nov 2006 23:48:59 +0100 Hello, I installed a kyocera laserprinter to a USB-Port, installed a loopback-adapter to use the net use lpt1:\\pc_name\printername - but : nothing happens ... If you do 'net view \\pc_name' what appears in the list regarding printers? Did you also get the test page come out when it/you installed the print spooler for the printer? Oh, yes. And is this Kyocera printer DOS compatible? Some laser printers are GDI (the print driver is the brain of the device) and will not work correctly when printed to directly from DOS programs. You can print to ANY GDI printer, pdf, rtf, word .... Zupan Miran | Re: Printing Clipper to USB on Fri, 08 Dec 2006 21:13:03 +0100 I agree with Igor, DOSPRINT "save my life" I have it in old Clipper programs (now in xBase), it prints on USB, network, conver files to pdf, rtf, send file to mail ....
