This can help a little to speed up. regards Rudolf "AUGE_OHR" <AUGE_OHR*AT*WEB.DE> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:34f3ae96$290a049c$cbf@news.alaska-software.com... > hi, > > using oPDF:CLSID := "{B801CA65-A1FC-11D0-85AD-444553540000}" with Reader > Version v9.x > seems to make Problem with Xbase++. Jan Escholt | Re: Acrobat Reader v9.x with Xbase++ on Wed, 20 May 2009 08:07:24 +0200 Jimmy, yes, I do have this problem. And I am the one that mentioned that I did not have this problem with 331 and Adobe Reader 8. If I start the Reader and load a pdf via ActiveX in my Xbase++ project the Reader is started very fast, also the first page of the pdf. But scrolling though the document needs at least 10-20 seconds from one page to the next one. I have not changed my code. It is just a new Xbase++ version and a new Adobe Reader version. And as you wrote: This problem occurs only in my Xbase++ projects. Everawhere else the Reader works as fast as expected (or as slow as we know the Reader).
