James,

to access the servicelevel newsgroup please use your login name
and password of your user-account at Alaska Software. You can
verify them by using the LOGIN link on the top-left of our homepage.
If you have forgotten your account credentials use the
"Forgot your Password?" link at the bottom of the login-form.

Anyway, you have to use the username and password of your Alaska
Software account as the username and password for your newsreaders
setup. And please do not check the "Logon using secure password
authentifcation", you only need to check "Server requires log on".

 Hope this helps,
 with kind regards

Hi Steffen

I have done that the problem is only if I try to start a new thread. I
can reply to existing threads no problem. Note also I'm using the web
interface and am running Firefox on Suse Linux for the beta NG thread.

Ok the work around works. lol I can now post using the folder icon
rather than the text link via a web browser.
