Sorry. Can't understand what you said. But, trying to clarify some things :

1) I inserted the source code of a program I did to test it. It works.
2) The source code and the library (and the other stuff) from FTP4W can be
found at the link I also inserted
3) We're using DllCall to execute it. It is not the best way. But, considering
that to have a native product one would have to pay, I think it is good engough
the price (I mean, to have some perfomance degradation because DllCall - after
all FTP4W is free)

Hope it helps... Sorry. Portuguese "seems" like Spanish but it is quite
different, really. See ya !

But it is not XPP, it is CPP ! One would have to translate. Not so difficult,
I guess. But, work to be done.

OK. Now I see what you meant !
But, some thoughts about it :

1) Incorporating it directly inside would be faster, for sure but, considering
the file transfer time itself, that little time saved from the DLLs would be
insignificant, I think.
2) We have been using trhough DLLs on a real, production environment and,
there's no problem at all. The problem we found was regarded to the server.
Should it be very crowded, login would fail. Then we increased the ftp server
priority (on our Unisys Mainframe) and now it works fine.

Thanks to you all !

Ol char,
Hello Jose,

O cara virou confuso pelo exemplo que vc deu, e ele disse que o cdigo fonte
pode ser usado com Xbase++.
El tipo se confundi por el ejemplo que diste, y el dice que el cdigo
fuente puede ser usado con Xbase++.
He confused himself by looking at the sample code you attached, and he
states the source code may be used with Xbase++.

Claro! essa foi a ideia quando vc codificou!
Claro! esa fue la idea cuando codificaste!
Of course! that was the idea when you coded it!

Meu, agradeo sua dica.
Agradezco el indicio.
I thank you the tip.

Obrigado
Gracias
Thanks

Just to let others know that I've found an alternative product for
FTP.
It's called FTP4W and can be get from
http://site.ifrance.com/freewares/zip/ftp4w302.zip. It is freeware.
For me, it satisfied some of the things I miss the most on Asinet's
FTP :
         1) Possibility to set asc/binary mode
         2) Site commands
         3) Directory navigation/creation

It has not been written specifically for XPP but, using DllCall, I
could get it working.
Should anyone else want a sample, here's my little test program :

Hi Anand

For what CURL stands for?

Pritpal

CURL is a stand alone, small C++ binary which I found while searching for a
solution I was stuck. We have an online accounting solution,
www.coralindia.com/aceweb which has an option to SYNC with our Dos (Clipper)
/Windows (XB++) based software ACE.

In the software we have a data upload option to ace@web for which I needed
HTTP/Submit. CURL is one such utility/tool which does that.

Hope that helps

Anand
