Hi,

I need to pick up E-Mail from my Mailserver (could be TEXT, could me MIME)
and readdress it to the appropriate User.

Example: Mails goes to info@toner.com, I evaluate the Mailtext and want to
send it on to user1@toner.com or user2@toner.com etc.

I do not want to change anything despite the E-Mail address. I am not quite
sure how that's done best - despite the contents of the e-mail, any Idea ?

Thanks

Stephan

Stephan,
Do you need to check email content?
If you don't, you may set just auto email forwarding, if such option is
provided by your ISP.
If you have to, you need to create an email client. Have a look at
http://www.marshallsoft.com/, there is a function to forward emails in see32
v.40

Vladimir

Vladimir,

yes I am evaluating the E-Mail content in xpp - I am looking up who the
correct contact for that customer is. I know how to retrieve the msg text
with asinet.

Now I just want to change the recipient.

Hi Stephan Koenig

Use see32 from Marshall Software. and It can see the content, body,
header, etc,etc.

Stephan,
I think you have to read message text, create a new messsage to the
recipient required and send it. If the message is a simple text, don't see
any problems, if it is a multi-part one, probably you will have to add more
message headers and create a message with required format. As a hint, you
may save a message in the outlook express as eml file and see the structure.

Vladimir

Thanks for your answers. I do know how to create an E-Mail client with
Asinet and I am using it a lot.

I do no want to buy any new product if not necessary.

If possible I wanted to have a hint from people using asinet how I best do a
readdressing. Or how I best retrieve whatever is there and send it out to a
new recipient.

Thanks

Hi,

I have not used the AsiNet to get a eMail (POP3), but
I think if you got this, this eMail has several parts,
the sender-adress, the body, attachments, and the adress
where this eMail was send to.

So get the body, attachments, sender-adress,
the right destination adress and build a new eMail.
If you need a right Forwarding, ask Alaska if this
is possible ...

Bye
Hubert
