| Richard A. Pulliam | Can I add Advantage to WAA?
on Wed, 06 Oct 2004 14:00:44 -0400The "Database Engine Maintenance" load input screen in WAA version 1.82 does
not allow it.
This is what I have:
XBase++ 1.82 including ADS Database Engine ( I am subscribed ). Novell
Client 4.90 SP2. Advantage 7.0.
I can use advantage in regular XBase++ programs, but not with WAA.
Help!

Probably outlook express is playing tricks with you.
It has the annoying habit of deciding for you, you don't
want to read certain messages anymore. As you can see
the message(s) containg this information are quite old.
As Phil pointed out, the trick is to load AdsDbe in the
_register() function. Before loading you need to check
if it has already been loaded. You can load it also in a
init procedure, but I never tried that.
