Got a couple issues with waa.
1) I get server error/socket write error 10054 when I display a table with
more then say 400 rows. 399 it displays fine, 400 runs to the error. I get
it only on the localhost (locally), likely some tcpip setting corrupted. Any
ideas?
2)Waa - ADS- ANSI charset issue. One absolutely identical application with
absulutely identical databases (copied from one server to another) display
non-English characters differently. Who can say what system setting waa uses
to convert? When I open a file with this characters with IE - both explorers
display them correctly, Advantage Data Architect also displays them
correctly. I checked also waa and ads dlls versions - they are identical.
The only differences are in ads ansi charsets - Engl(Amer) and Engl(Can),
and operational systems - W2K and W2K Server. The issue likely exists on W2K
system, because my XP machine displays in the same way as W2Kserver one
does. I tried to switch ansi charset on my xp system, but had no any change.
