Bruce Anderson | Download question on Mon, 31 Jul 2006 11:01:49 -0500 Assume two legitimate files in a directory: MYFILE.DBF and MYFILE.FPT http://www.site.com/files/myfile.dbf works just fine. I get the "Do you want to open or save this file?" dialog box, which is what I want. http://www.site.com/files/myfile.fpt gives me a "The page cannot be found" error, and it is happening strictly because of the file extension. Any hints on what needs to be set where will be most appreciated. I have run out of ideas. | |

Bruce Anderson | Re: Download question on Mon, 31 Jul 2006 12:02:04 -0500 Brain finally kicked in and I realized this is an IIS issue rather than a IE problem. I had to register .FPT as a MIME type for the website. Now all is wonderful, but this moment shall pass, as usual.
