That's what i am asking me because i see no new postings except in the 
lang.german .....

Yes they are!

I guess Visual XBase is not use by many people and because it is still a 
beta (and Steffen always jump in to say "Use the beta NG for beta 
products!"), that's why everybody is silent.

But i don't see the "old" xbase newsgroups. If i reconnect to 
news.alaska-software.com, i only get the vx-groups, as you stated correctly.

Any hints?

You have to rescan (reset) the newsserver!
Almost all names have changed.

I have deleted the old Newsserver account and build a new.
After that I have downloaded all new (DSL 6000) took some time, but know 
  I have all.
