Debug exe with different working directory
on Tue, 13 Jan 2004 21:56:36 +0100
Hi,

is there any way to tell VX to start the process with a different working
dir?

Currently, with my "normal" dev environment, I have the following
directories:

prg
exe
dbf
temp
...

What I need is to be able to start an exe file located in the exe directory
but use dbf as the *working dir*.

It seems as if the executable is always started in the exe directory.

Did it ever occur to you that maybe the reason that nobody ever published
in hot pink text on lime green paper before WiReD wasn't *just* because the
ink was expensive, or wasn't *just* because LSD hadn't been invented yet?

Thomas,

this issue already came up yesterday. Currently, that's not
possible. We've already had some heated discussions over
this issue . IAW: we are thinking about it .
