We are in the process of planning a U.S. DevCon on the following dates:

May 22,23,24 (Monday, Tuesday, 1/2 day Wednesday) of 2006.

I hope all of the Europeans do not hate the U.S. so much that they will not
come! All of us American xBase++ developers are nice people! We will do
our best to make you feel welcome and at home!!

Here is a link to the Hotel/Conference center where the DevCon will be held:

http://www.highlanderinn.com/

It will be organized like the 2 previous DevCons:

No "opposing" sessions.

Opening Cocktail Reception. All meals, Shirt, raffle etc....

We are looking at the possibility of offering the 3rd party vendors slots
for "mini" users groups on Sunday May 21. This way people can get some time
with their 3rd party vendors to see any new stuff and ask questions.

The hotel is $105 per night and has "free" wireless internet. It is right
next to the Manchester Airport, so a car will not be required. There is $$$
bus service from Boston's Logan Airport to Manchester Airport for those who
want to take non-stop flights. There are also a couple of cheaper hotels
2 - 3 miles away in the $70-80 per night range, but that will require a car
to get back and forth...

Manchester is a 1 hour drive to Boston, the Ocean and the Mountains, so if
you extend your stay by a couple of days you can do some great site seeing.

As soon as Alaska delivers me their presentation topics, I will begin
recruiting other speakers and put together a web site.

In the mean time, I would like to try to get an idea of the number of people
that are interested in attending.

Email me with any questions and suggestions....

Warm regards,

Jim Graham

Hi Jim,
itnot good to kill birds, but its the worst thing to kill the DEVCON with
your stone!

Unfortunately I think I cant attend because I have a concurrent event in
those days here where I have to be there and also some days later we expect
the birth of our next child. But I wish you all the best remembering the
last European DEVCON and hope that it may be possible to get some scriptures
and/or codesnippets for those that could not attend.
