Hi,

I am using CrystalComm for datatransfer to and from the internet.
By modem it works oke.
But by ADSL it does not work best.
When I want to send files to an FTPserver like Lycos, I have to choose
'passive mode'.
And I can't find the way to do so.

Who knows how I can change the mode from 'active' to 'passive' and from
'passive' to 'active' ?

Marcel,

I cannot answer your question as I never did any work in this
direction but some collegues at the XXP usergroup do have this
experience. If you like you can join us at our next meeting on may 16.
I can send you the details on request, just send a note to
secretaris@xxp.nl.

My FTP class (XbFTP) uses passive mode by default.
