Ben Bodenstein | South Africans - Where are you? on Sat, 01 Feb 2003 09:56:24 +0200 Please reply in this thread so that we can get all South Africans together in our rather "lonely" environment. We might be a select few, but I think we've got a great product on our hands, especially if your are one of the extinct Clipper programmers. Please guys, lets get together and join our forces! I am from Pretoria and working as an independent consultant. -- Groete, Ben Bodenstein benbod@telkomsa.net Tel: 083-654-5456 ******************************************************** We are not Humans having a spiritual experience, We are Spiritual beings having a human experience. | |
Johan Droskie | Re: South Africans - Where are you? on Mon, 03 Feb 2003 11:52:51 +0000 Hi .. "Lonely" might be a understatement. Im SA born but living in London for a while. I worked for a 2 company there where I converted Apps from Clipper. 1 is a Insurance package now owned by SA Eagle. Not sure if it is still going. The other is a Medical Aid Program used by Fedsure, but don't know if they sticked as well. Maybe they still have programmers still supporting it. The only other person I know of is Adie Addendorff. Ben Bodenstein | Re: South Africans - Where are you? on Mon, 03 Feb 2003 20:41:42 +0200 Thanks for replying Johan, I thought your name sounds very South African when I saw it on the NG's. Adie Adendorff is the only other S.African I had contact with so far. O yes, and Mark Parsons from Durban. How is the xBase++ usage base in England? Regards, Ben |
