Dear collegues,

OOPS, forgot to post this message !

This afternoon, Friday 17-06, there is an XXP meeting in hotel Mercure,
Bunnik, where Alaska's Till Warweg and Andreas Herdt will tell us more
about Xbase++ 1.9 and about Activex controls. Also, there will be ample
time to ask them any question on Xbase so that after this meeting
everybody's (Xbase) problems will be completely solved.

Well, if Jack, Jan, Frans, Sander and Peter were all present, Till and
Andreas would have been kept very busy and on their toes

Ok, it was a pleasant day, Andreas started off with a session about
the new stuff in the 1.9 release, and of coarse he showed us the
active-x stuff. along with a whole lot off new DBE stuff, like sub
index, ROY indexes, indexes with a with clause, vartext and varbin
fields, and all kinds off nice stuff. 
after that, we had a coffee break, and Till started his in-depth
presentation about active-x. 
by the time he was finished it was time to eat, we all had a very nice
dinner. after dinner we went back to work, and had this what we cal
hands-on session. Meaning, one could show his problem/code on his
notebook, and basically, most off them got solutions! Till and Andreas
solved quite a few "problems"
 at 10:30 we officially closed the day, thanked Till and Andreas.
after this we went on, and a little later the "session" moved to the
bar area, where there was this xbase-talk until the wee hours off the
morning

Does this satisfy you?
I guess being there is unbeatable
