Hi All

I've spent some time revamping my code maintenance tool and now deciding
to prepare it as a professional tool that others can use.

This is a tool which has amongst many functions;
1) sophisticated search and replaces
2) provides an easy-to-use road map of an application's source code for
fast access by function/procedure - drill-down and drill-up
3) Automatic Formatting of source code for a single function or file or
all files using conventions which improve readability.
4) Unlimited roll-back of any individual function
5) On-Screen Visual comparison of different versions of the same function.
6) Date and Time-Stamp of when each routine last edited.
7) Remembers where you were last when looking at a function.
8) Integrates with simple DBF files to extract table/Field/Index/menu
information for Drill-Down.
9) Operations can be suspended while new ones are started.

An ideal tool for maintenance or converting old apps to windows.

What I am looking for at this stage is 3 developers who would like to
use this tool for free on the proviso that they use it, and give me some
feedback and great ideas.

Once I have had a chance to incorporate I will then make it commercially
available to others. Would prefer developers who primarily use English -
I may need to make some changes to handle characters that are in the
extended ASCII set and would look at this later.

I have attached a Word Document end-user manual which details everything
it does so you can decide if you would like to become involved.

One of the areas I want to develop further is how it handles methods in
the various ways they can be defined.

First in, first served!

Email me at sapient@clear.net.nz if you would like to be in the trial group.

Cheers
