I'm experimenting with MarshallSoft's MCM4XB libary and by looking at 
the history.txt I can see that my sample email test picks up the correct 
recipient.

I can see in also that the email is queued but fails to get sent.

Email # 1 queued (0 email sent, 0 errors)
-----------------------------------------
Waiting for 1 channels to finish
0 email ssuccessfully sent, 1 had errors


I am using the free version at this stage.

I can send to my smtp address from the same application elsewhere but 
not sure why it should be a problem from this library.

Does anyone have any suggestions.

Of course - ask Marshallsoft, especially at the evaluation stage they are
very helpful (as they want to sell the product)

They don't provide support for the Free version.

But I'll try anyway as I will upgrade if I get it working.

I learned I had to allow my mail server to relay mail originating from its 
own IP.  I don't understand it, but I do it and my mail gets sent.

Hi Bruce

The problem was to do with mail relaying. In the end Mike Marshall 
suggested I use my user name and password to log onto the SMTP server 
and that did the trick.
