Simon Burford | Xoanon special test edition available - get it while it's hot :) on Thu, 14 Apr 2011 17:05:02 +0100 If you haven't yet got yourselves a copy of Xoanon, the add-on for xBase++ which adds simple yet powerful interface design options to make you apps look sleek and modern, now is the time to do so. For a limited time, we are offering a special fully functional version of Xoanon for just £25. This includes everything except the sourcecode included in the full package, and also includes support to get you up and running with Xoanon. In no time at all, you'll be sliding modern graphical interfaces, menus and controls into your applications to make them compete with even the most expensive apps out there. So what's the catch? Well, there really isn't one. You can use this special edition to add Xoanon to your own applications and try it as much as you like. If it isn't for you, then simply let us know within 30 days and we'll refund your money. If you find Xoanon to be invaluable, as we're sure you will, you can upgrade to any full version listed on our website at any time and we'll refund the £25 you paid for the special edition. You can't lose! The only thing you can't do with this edition is use it in a commercial app. You can try out all the features of Xoanon, and there are no annoying pop up messages or crippled features. You get a fully featured version of Xoanon for £25, minus the sourcecode. Xoanon is now in use across Europe and America and is adding a whole new dimension to existing apps by swapping out those bland grey interfaces for modern, colourful ones that engage users and draw them in - with no flicker, even in the most complex of interfaces. This offer is not available through our website, and is only available to users of this forum. For more information or to order, please contact us at support@ulurudatabase.com Thank you for your time, Simon Burford support@ulurudatabase.com

You can get an idea of what can be achieved by looking at the examples of graphical database browsers. Xoanon also includes hundreds functions in every category, as well as many system controls which are not included as standard in xBase++ such as date/time pickers, etc. Regards, Simon Burford support@ulurudatabase.com Simon Burford wrote: > If you haven't yet got yourselves a copy of Xoanon, the add-on for > xBase++ which adds simple yet powerful interface design options to make > you apps look sleek and modern, now is the time to do so. > > For a limited time, we are offering a special fully functional version > of Xoanon for just £25. Philip Jackson | Re: Xoanon special test edition available - get it while it's hot :) on Fri, 15 Apr 2011 10:33:02 +1200 Hi Simon There's some really good stuff in there but don't get hoodwinked by fancy screens with background images. They distract and compete for attention. If people want to see art they can go to an art gallery. I actually found many of these types of screens in the walk-through demonstration on the website garish and unusable. I would recommend that you have some samples with clean screen designs. You can still make good screens without background clutter. Data needs to stand out - that's what commercial users want. Cheers Phil Jackson
Nestor G. Torres | Re: Xoanon special test edition available - get it while it's hot :) on Sat, 16 Apr 2011 10:27:33 +0200 I Agree... I would like to see some Windows that look like Gadgets: 1) Mobile Phone 2) Tablet 3) Calculator 4) Ticker 5) Space Age Gadgets and Gauges 6) and Others Mix the above with good looking mother windows would allow for very modern looking applications Just a thought. Kind regards Nestor "Philip Jackson" wrote in message news:32ec29c1$6b4628b9$37485@news.alaska-software.com... > Hi Simon > > There's some really good stuff in there but don't get hoodwinked by fancy > screens with background images.
