Hi,

I am a Clipper programmer based in Co. Kildare, Ireland, about to start
migrating some apps to Xbase. Is there an Xbase developer in Ireland who
could help me get started, maybe provide a few lessons or even do the
groundwork, etc.

If so please reply here or email me at
mark.nolan@mercurysoftwareREMOVETHIS.ie

Thanks,

Mark.

I'm not sure exactly where he is, but Greg Doran is in Ireland somewhere.
If he doesn't respond here, I can send him an email for you.

If I have the hero cornered and am about to finish him off and he says "Look
out behind you!!" I will not laugh and say "You don't expect me to fall for
that old trick, do you?" Instead I will take a step to the side and half
turn. That way I can still keep my weapon trained on the hero, I can scan
the area behind me, and if anything was heading for me it will now be
heading for him.

Thanks Phil and Martin,

mark Sergent just told me about the posting and I have sent an email to
Mark in Kildare. Might even get an Irish Xbase++ User Group going
now...

Greg Doran, Dublin, Ireland.
