Hi

We are looking for programmers who have experience of Financial
applications. We provide and support an accounting application to UK schools
called "School Fund Manager" that helps them manage money collected from
parents for trips, uniform etc.

In the last 18 months we have extensively re-engineered the core SFM
application to deal with issues arising from the Windows NT environment and
make the program extensible. We are currently completing the 32bit XBase++
release which is re-compiled from the original Clipper code with XBase++
32bit functions and EXpress++ libraries.

The 32bit application (called SFM Windows) can uniquely switch between Text
and Windows presentations, minimising user re-training and preserving fast
keyboard based transaction entry and navigation.

A new Visual FoxPro application called "SFLink" is ready for release. This
is a 'modular' application that connects to the main pupil database to
synchronise pupil names. We have plans to extend this to connect to internet
banking for automated reconciliation etc.

The skills we are looking for are..

XBase++ v1.8 / EXpress++
Clipper 5.2
Visual FoxPro v6

We have several projects planned this year, so plenty of work to do
  a.. To complete the GUI on SFM
  b.. To add an invoicing module to SFLink
  c.. To develop a Charity/Gift aid application
If you know colleagues who are able and interested in undertaking some of
this work, would please ask them to get in touch with me ASAP. A CV or URL
would be helpful.

Best wishes for the new year.
Michael
