Jose Luis Otermin | Re: Any programmers avaiable - for West Midlands on Tue, 28 Oct 2003 00:24:25 -0300 Hello Martin, If you consider the possibility of a remote programmer with experience migrating Summer'87 or CA-Clipper 5.x to Xbase++, then you can count with me. With TD you'll get an excellent tool to write an entire OOP App. But if you wish to maintain the same logic without too much effort, you shall consider eXpress. With TD you will build encapsulated objects which can be launched in paralell threads with tdLaunchPad(). But with eXpress you get simplified some things like the @ .... SAY and @ ... GET commands. Our colleague Anand (if my memory serves me well) posted here a workaround to program with TD in the same way eXpress use. Well, that's all. -- Best regards, Jos Luis Otermin oterminATciudad.com.ar Enjoy the growing Xbase++ repository http://ar.groups.yahoo.com/group/XFreeProject/join PS: You might consider Greg Doran and Phil Ide as a firm couple of candidates who live near you.
