Software developer with 20 years of Xbase++ and 35 years of database and 
application design experience is looking for new contract work.

I have converted several large Clipper desktop applications to Xbase++ GUI 
applications, and extended and maintained those applications for over 20 
years, including providing support to end users.

I have extensive experience in data conversions from and to numerous 
database and application formats, including various flat file and RDBMS 
formats, such as dBase, DBC, Access, DB2, Oracle, PGSQL, SQLite, as well as 
unstructured data, like plain text, word-processor, and PDF documents.

Experienced in designing and implementing Web applications (mainly using 
Xb2Net), besides Console, GUI, and Service applications.

I also have over 20 years experience in the area of U.S. law enforcement 
procedures, security and reporting requirements.

I'm fluent in English and German and I have worked for 2 years for Alaska on 
their Xbase++ documentation.

I am also available for individual tutoring/coaching/training in all areas 
of Xbase++ software development, including solving design and implementation 
problems.
