Dear FoxPro, Visual FoxPro and Xbase++ developer, 

Please be sure to specify the credentials associated with your customer 
account in the properties of your News reader.

Anymous and guest users will not be able to see/read any postings in 
the newsgroup set aside for the <CXP/> Community Technology Preview 
(CTP)!

1. Configure the server in your News Reader application. The address
    is: nntp://news.alaska-software.com
2. Check the option "server requires authentication". If you are unsure
    how to do this, please consult the documentation which came with
    your News reader.
3. Specify the username and password you received after creating 
    your user account at www.alaska-software.com (see your Welcome 
    email!).
4. Download the list of newsgroups, typically by using an option such
    as "newsgroup list"
5. Subscribe to the newsgroup preview.xbase++.20
6. One of the first postings is a Welcome message, which has further
    details about the preview newgroup.
