Steffen F. Pirsig [Alaska Research] | Visual Xbase++ PreRelease next steps! on Wed, 31 Dec 2003 13:31:30 +0100 Dear Visual Xbase++ users, since the public availability of the Visual Xbase++ 2.0 PreRelease we received a overhelming amount of encouraging and constructive feedback. To give you an idea about what will come next please find below our recently adjusted plans for the first 2 months in 2004. 1. Top-Most priority has the resolution of most if not all so called show-stoppers of the current VX PreRelease. This includes features such as OEM support and fixing Ctrl-J Template problems to name just a few. Our plan is to make this new VX PreRelease available as soon as possible at least in the next 2 weeks. 2. Resolution of most if not all known problems plus addition of features requested by the user-base such as Comment/Uncomment Code. Our plan is to have this VX PreRelease version available in the first week of Februar. A more detailed technical roadmap including milestones we intend to publish by end of January. This roadmap also will cover our vision for .NET and Linux support. Again, thank you all very much for your constructive feedback and your support of the future of Xbase++ as a language and technology platform. Happy new year and good business in 2004 Alaska Research & Development |
