Dear Xbase++ developers,

Due to a failure at our hosting provider our secondary
DNS server was not able to take over while a 
distributed brute force attack against our
primary DNS and WWW servers knocked down almost 
all of our public systems. This total DNS blackout
for alaska-software.com/alaska-software.net and
alaskasoftware.com led to the situation that we have
been mostly unreachable in the last 48 hours. 

Until now, we have been able to setup new primary and 
secondary DNS systems, which have taken over name 
resolution. That is why you can read this message 
and that is why we are now able to receive email 
again. 

Of course our WWW system, the web applications and
the download system are still offline and currently
being moved to a new server.
