Steffen F. Pirsig | Xbase++ 2.0 progress report #2 on Wed, 25 Apr 2012 11:22:24 +0200 Dear Xbase++, Visual FoxPro and FoxPro developer, as outlined in my previous "Xbase++ 2.0 progress report" we have merged the different feature branches of Xbase++ 2.0 in early April. The resulting build #424 we have then started to validate and stabilize. Of course, our goal in this validation and stabilization process was to reach a point where most of the Xbase++ 2.0 CTP1 - CTP4 features were available. Reason: we wanted to hand out a dedicated build to all conference attendees at the Xbase++ conference. This way, the attendees would be able to play with 2.0 and could use all samples and code shown at conference sessions held by Alaska Software as a starting point. In the process of stabilization we disabled some features for the sake of stability. With build #426, on 19th April 2012, we reached our goal: Having a feature-rich Xbase++ 2.0 conference build, not ready for production but ready to dig into the features of Xbase++ 2.0. with kind regards Steffen F.
