Dear Xbase++ community,

 we plan to move the news-groups to another server today. To do this
 safely, we plan to shutdown the news-service after 13:00 CET+1. 

 After data has been transferred to the new system we will update
 the DNS entries accordingly so the domain name news.alaska-software.com
 will point to the new server. Please allow the DNS update a couple of
 hours to propagate.

 According to our current plan, no actions must be taken on your side. Nor
 will there be any data loss. After the process has been completed we will
 post an announcement on our website.
