 Maintenance work has been completed, and our new news
 server is now up and running. All postings from the
 old system have been transferred to the new system.
 Furthermore, spam postings have been removed.

 To be able to read the news postings, we kindly ask
 of you to have your news reader re-configured!
 Hence, we strongly recommend to delete your previous
 news account, and to set it up again  from scratch.
 Thereafter, you should retrieve the list of newsgroups
 from the server, and subscribe to the  newsgroups you are
 interested in.

 By default, anonymous users will have solely "read-only access" !
 To post a message, you will have to configure your news
 reader to logon to the news server using the following
 user name and password:

 user: guest
 password: guest

 Once you have enabled the authentification,  you will be
 authorized to post messages to the newsgroups.
 Authenticating users is by far the most effective way
 to avoid spam.

 Below, you can find a list of the newsgroups and a short
 description of their respective purpose. Please remember
 to post your message only to the related group! This
 will not only significantly increase your chances of
 getting a prompt and sound response, but also help us
 keeping things organized.
